Kevin Kelly

Kevin Kelly serves as Mathematica’s chief of staff. He works closely with the president and chief executive officer, as well as other members of Mathematica’s senior leadership team to support strategic initiatives and drive accountability for goals across the organization.

In this role, Kelly serves as a liaison to the Office of the President with internal and external audiences; he works closely with the senior leadership team and board of directors to develop, execute, and monitor corporate strategy; and supports coordination across Mathematica’s operations to facilitate positive client experiences. He leverages effective meeting design and facilitation practices to guide decision making and support progress towards Mathematica’s vision, and he leads special projects in cross-functional areas and business units.

Before becoming chief of staff in 2023, Kelly was a researcher at Mathematica specializing in K–12 education policy. In this role, he led and contributed to projects with federal, state, and local education agencies and foundations to help them make evidence-informed decisions. Kelly holds an M.A. in economic development from Vanderbilt University.
