Jeff Bernson, MPH, MPA, leads Mathematica Global supporting a deep bench of local, regional, and international experts turning evidence and insight into lasting progress for ambitious global health and development clients.
Bernson offers critical experience and demonstrated success designing and implementing programs, products, tools, and systems that accelerate equity around the world. He is deeply committed to improve the lives of people and communities everywhere, working alongside organizations like the Gates Foundation, Millenium Challenge Corporation, and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Before joining Mathematica in 2023, Bernson was Chief Programs and Innovation Officer at PATH where he oversaw a team of disease specialists, data engineers, visualization experts, researchers, and technologists working shoulder-to-shoulder with in-country colleagues to solve some of the most vexing global health challenges.
Bernson also designed, implemented, and evaluated programs focused on behavior change communication, HIV/AIDS, family planning, and capacity building at Chemonics and the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs.
He earned his MPH and MPA from the University of Washington in Seattle.
