Evan Christo

Research Associate

Evan Christo is a specialist in quantitative and geospatial analysis. Since joining Mathematica in 2022, Christo has worked on a range of projects, with a focus on energy, water and sanitation, and food and agriculture.

For the Impact Evaluation of Private Sector-Led Extension Approach–Phase 2 project, Christo generated geospatial characteristics for farmer villages and assisted with matching and sampling. He also led the analysis and data reporting programming after the survey. For the Cost-Benefit Analysis of the Uganda Water Infrastructure Project, Christo contributed to the literature review, key informant interviews, and secondary data collection, and co-led the incorporation of this information into an interactive anticipatory cost-benefit analysis on four water-collection technologies.

Before joining Mathematica, Christo served as an AmeriCorps fellow at the San Mateo County Community College District, working as a sustainability advisor within the Facilities department. Christo holds a B.A. in engineering sciences modified with environmental sciences and a B.E. in environmental engineering from Dartmouth College.
