Talia Parker is experienced in qualitative research and technical assistance on a range of topics, including Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) quality measurement, social determinants of health, and interpersonal violence.

Since joining Mathematica in 2023, Parker has held a variety of research and project management roles for federal Medicaid and foundation contracts. Currently, she supports technical assistance and data analytics for state Medicaid and CHIP agencies’ quality measure reporting for the Core Set program. Parker is also the project manager and research analyst on the Addressing and Preventing Intimate Partner Violence through Medicaid Policy project, an initiative of the Blue Shield of California Foundation. In previous roles, she facilitated coaching, peer learning events, resource development, and engagement for the Getting Further Faster Community of Practice project. She also developed and tested prototypes for a human-centered design project on data modernization in state and local public health departments.

Before joining Mathematica, Parker worked on technical assistance, evaluation, and member engagement at the National Coalition of STD Directors. She holds a B.A. from Georgetown University.
