Sheldon Bond’s work focuses on performance measurement and change management for labor-related programs. Bond has extensive experience developing data analysis and reporting solutions to address business needs.

Bond currently directs the Senior Community Service Employment Program Modernization project for which he leads a diverse team of subject matter experts and software testers in developing a new case management system aligned with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. He also directs the Registered Apprenticeship Technical Assistance Center of Excellence project, which provides technical assistance and training to support administrative and systems improvements, including technological advancements that promote registered apprenticeship within state systems. On other projects, Bond uses his knowledge of labor market information systems to lead negotiations with states for data sharing agreements that support Mathematica’s evaluation research and assist the Gates Foundation in developing an indicator framework to address racial equity and economic mobility.

In addition to his project work, Bond is deputy director of Mathematica’s labor and employment area, where he supports projects and proposals directed at a broad range of clients. He also serves as a co-lead of the Black Employee Resource Group, organizing events focused on culture and career development. He holds an A.M. in government from Harvard University.
