Marie Copoulos has worked extensively at the intersection of data and health care delivery systems where she specializes in the role of health information technology and analytics in achieving delivery system reform and quality improvement.
At Mathematica, Marie focuses on projects related to Medicaid data use strategies that support the development of new care models and data programs. Previously, Copoulos founded and led Horta Health, LLC, working on issues at the intersection of data, health, and climate. At Cityblock Health, as head of data product, she oversaw data acquisition and strategy for the company’s alternative care model for Medicaid and dual populations. During her time at Comagine Health as chief growth officer and senior vice president of research and innovation, Copoulos led programs related to data, delivery reform, and quality improvement for Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries. She also worked at Health Catalyst, where, as vice president of population health strategy and operations, she worked with hospitals and health systems adopting technology to support payment and delivery reform.
Copoulos holds a master’s degree in health policy and management from Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she focused on uses of and innovations in health information technology.
