Lindsay Glassman

Survey Researcher

Lindsay Glassman is a survey researcher specializing in health equity and health care systems. She brings expertise in mixed methods research design to equity-focused evaluations for projects related to health care access, community health, and disability.

Glassman currently is the survey director on the Health Equity Review Initiative for the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services. The initiative aims to advance equitable practices in service provision and outreach for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. She is also the data collection and analysis lead for the Evaluation of REACH Technical Assistance, which is assessing technical assistance provided by the Association of Immunization Managers to recipients of Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) grants. These grants are aimed at reducing racial and ethnic disparities in disease burden, with a focus on equitable access to and uptake of COVID-19 vaccines. Glassman is also serving as the deputy data collection lead for the Disability Innovation Fund Pathways to Partnerships Evaluation, a five-year assessment of projects in 20 states that are designed to improve transition services for youth with disabilities.

Glassman has published in numerous peer-reviewed medical and social science journals, including BMC Public Health, Antimicrobial Stewardship & Healthcare Epidemiology, Social Inclusion, and the Annual Review of Sociology. She holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.
