Lekisha Daniel-Robinson

Senior Researcher

Lekisha Daniel-Robinson has more than 20 years of experience in state and Federal government as well as hospital and health organization consulting, with a focus on Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Her areas of expertise include maternal and child health policy, clinical quality measures, quality improvement, and health equity.

At Mathematica, Daniel-Robinson leads or provides subject matter expertise on efforts to improve outcomes, quality, and access in maternal and child health delivery systems. She has experience providing technical assistance to states, programs and clinical partners to: address data infrastructure and collaboration, integrate workforce models, and use data-driven strategies to identify and assess quality improvement opportunities and impact. In 2021, she co-chaired the National Quality Forum’s Maternal Morbidity and Mortality Committee, charged with defining frameworks and recommendations for measurement. Before joining Mathematica, she was director of maternal and child health consulting for IBM and a technical director in the Division of Quality and Health Outcomes at the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services.

Daniel-Robinson holds a B.S. in psychology from Virginia Tech University and a M.S. in public health from Meharry Medical College.
