Eric Zeidman has expertise in large-scale school-based studies, including randomized controlled trials and cross-sectional and longitudinal designs. He is experienced in district and school recruiting, random assignment, and development and implementation of complex sampling plans.

Zeidman is survey director for two national studies of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. He coordinates and leads the survey research effort to produce national estimates of erroneous payments made under these programs during the 2012–2013 school year. He has expertise in school-based data collection with a focus on school recruiting, random assignment, and sample construction.

Zeidman, who joined Mathematica in 2003, has published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and holds an Ed.M. in educational statistics, measurement, and evaluation from Rutgers University.
