Diane Beaver is a managing consultant with expertise in home and community-based services (HCBS), long-term services and supports, case management, social security work incentives, supported employment, and integrated care models for people dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.
Since joining Mathematica in 2021, Beaver has worked on a range of HCBS- and disability-related projects. Currently, she leads work for two projects with the Florida Development Disabilities Council (FDDC), including as the project director for Access to Service through Knowledge (ASK) project and as a task lead for the Best Practices in Case Management project. She also works on the CMS-funded Integrated Care Resource Center (ICRC), supports Iowa Health and Human Service’s Hope and Opportunities in Many Environments (HOME) project, and is part of the Ticket to Work (TTW) Evaluation team.
Prior to her time at Mathematica, Beaver spent 12 years working at a behavioral health provider as a program manager overseeing Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Supported Employment programs. She is a Community Partner Work Incentives Counselor (CPWIC) and has supported countless individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals of returning to work through individualized placement supports and benefits counseling. She holds an MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, with specializations in health care management, innovation and technology and private and public sector leadership.
