Di Chen is a seasoned senior data analytics developer with a wealth of experience leveraging data-driven insights to transform health care delivery and drive strategic decision making.

Since joining Mathematica in 2021, Chen has worked on a range of projects in Medicaid areas. Currently, she is the system lead for the unwinding monitoring team that provides close-to-real-time data-monitoring products to help drive efforts of the Center for Medicaid & CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) Services. She helps the Center for Medicaid & CHIP Services work closely with states to improve their Medicaid programs and CHIP and reduce inappropriate coverage loss. Chen is also the programmer and business intelligence developer for the CT OHS Healthcare Benchmarking project, which created a public-facing cost estimator tool for the state of Connecticut.

Chen is interested in a deep understanding of the broader health care landscape, from regulatory frameworks to emerging technologies shaping the future of health care. Chen holds an M.P.H. from the University of Michigan.
