Corrie Haley’s work focuses on advancing health equity and developing actionable strategies to address social and environmental determinants of health.

Haley leads collaborative teams to address complex issues, developing technical assistance and learning curriculums to support health care improvement and translate evidence-based knowledge into action. This work focuses on advancing health equity and process improvement strategies to bring the benefits of accountable care to underserved communities for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) models and programs. She also has experience applying quantitative and qualitative research methods to assess the effectiveness of learning programs designed to support immunization program development and deployment. Haley‘s passion for investigating the intersection of climate change and public health has led her to center her work on examining approaches state Medicaid agencies can take to advance climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Before joining Mathematica in January 2021, Haley was the manager for the Medi-Cal team in the quality improvement (QI) department for Health Net of California. She led QI strategies to meet both regulatory requirements and business goals through process improvement programs, direct clinical care initiatives, and patient behavioral change activities. Haley also conducted learning activities with Medicaid provider groups focused on QI strategies, Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set performance, and clinical best practices. In addition, she deployed maternal and child health QI initiatives and evaluations to address access to care, quality of care, and health disparities. Before working in managed care, Haley managed research and service delivery health programs focused on postpartum care in Southern Province, Zambia.

Haley earned a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in environmental health from the Boston University School of Public Health. She also completed a Certificate in Climate Change and Health from the Yale School of Public Health.
