Managing Consultant

Cayla Roby is a managing consultant with expertise in managing federal and state evaluations and technical assistance projects. 

Roby’s work focuses on older adults and people with disabilities. She is the deputy project director for the California Home and Community-Based Services Gap Analysis and Multiyear Roadmap projects. She is also the deputy project director for the evaluation of the Disability Innovation Fund’s Subminimum Wage to Competitive Integrated Employment Model. Across projects, she provides strategic operations support and oversight to project management activities, manages data and security requirements, and communicates with clients and interested external partners. Roby supports projects through qualitative data collection, analysis, and management. 

Before joining Mathematica in 2022, Roby worked at Abt Associates as a senior analyst. Roby has a Project Management Professional certification and holds an M.A. in gerontology and an M.P.H. with a concentration in health management and policy, both from Georgia State University.
