Andy Weiss is a nationally recognized leader in data collection systems, research operations, and survey methodology. His work focuses on business development for the rapidly changing data collection market. More than two decades of experience in his field have given him a strong background in data collection, analysis, operations, management, and business development.
Weiss has a track record of bridging the gaps between technology, research methodology, and business development. His expertise extends throughout the government, commercial, and nonprofit sectors.
Weiss has published his research in Survey Practice, Public Opinion Quarterly, and the American Journal of Epidemiology. He is also active in the American Association of Public Opinion Research and the Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics, where he serves on the board. Before joining Mathematica in 2015, he was the chief business officer at Abt SRBI.
The 2021–2022 Study of Family and Staff Well-Being in Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (FACES) Programs (the 2021-2022 Study) builds on FACES 2019, a national study of children and families participating in Head Start programs.
