Alison Barger is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Mathematica. She is responsible for the oversight and direction of the accounting, finance, treasury, internal audit, and risk management functions within the company, administration of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and profit-sharing plans, and serves as liaison with federal and private auditors on compliance issues.
Barger serves on the Executive Advisory Management committee, the New Opportunities committee, the administrative committees of the profit-sharing and SERP benefit plans, and serves as chair of the ESOP administration and investment committees.
Barger joined Mathematica in 1984 and was named controller in 2002. She is a member of the ESOP Association, the National Center for Employee Ownership, the Employee-Owned S Corporations of America, ESCA, and the Finance Executives Institute. Barger holds a B.A. in business administration from Rider University (formerly Rider College).
