This webinar describes the opportunity for states to require Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) that operate with exclusively aligned enrollment to establish contracts with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that only include one or more D-SNPs within a state and integrate certain materials for enrollees. This webinar helps states to:
- Identify the policy conditions that allow states to require D-SNP-only contracts;
- Identify how D-SNP-only contracts can benefit states, D-SNP enrollees, and D-SNPs;
- Explain the key steps that states and D-SNPs need to take to implement D-SNP-only contracts; and
- Describe the timeline for implementing D-SNP-only contracts for 2026.
