“I’m thrilled to join Mathematica’s board at a time when the organization’s focus on innovating at the intersection of data science, social science, and technology is critically important for decision makers around the world,” said Susan Ness. “I look forward to using my background in global technology policy, women’s leadership, and communications policy to help our employee-owners shape an equitable and just world where evidence drives decisions for global impact.”

Ness is an independent expert member and board alternate of the Global Network Initiative and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Coalition for Digital Safety.
