White House Office of Science and Technology Policy
Scott Cody and Steven Glazerman participated in a conference hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the Coalition for Evidence- Based Policy to discuss low-cost randomized controlled trials (RCTs). At the conference, “Demonstrating How Low-Cost RCTs Can Drive Effective Social Spending,” representatives from the Domestic Policy Council, the Office of Management and Budget, Congress, federal agencies, state/local agencies, and foundations joined leading social policy researchers to explore the role of lower-cost RCTs in building the evidence base for what works in social policy and programs.
