This interactive dashboard provides a ballpark estimates for the risk of contracting COVID-19 and the probability of severe health outcomes based on the user input on geography, demographics, health conditions, and personal behaviors. The public can use it to understand the community transmissions around themselves and the risk mitigation strategies to protect themselves and their families. Health care providers can use it to screen patients and identify individuals more susceptible to severe outcomes from COVID-19. Researchers can use it to understand the risk and susceptibility for a local community. Public health officials may find it useful to educate the public how personal behaviors can modify an individual's risk and therefore promote healthy behaviors such as practicing social distancing or getting a vaccine. The dashboard automatically refreshes daily with the latest case counts data at the county-level. The backend methodology is reviewed monthly to stay up-to-date with the evolving evidence.
