Jeffrey Tranchina

Jeffrey Tranchina is a seasoned information technology professional with more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. Before joining Mathematica, he worked as a director of network and security and security officer for a prominent New York-based consulting firm and as a security consultant for close to 20 years.

Tranchina  held a top-secret security clearance with the Defense Security Service within the U.S. Department of Defense. Tranchina has worked closely with the Defense Security Service and other U.S. government agencies to initiate and process clearance requests for employees on projects that required them. Tranchina has held both technical and senior management-level positions for both private and publically owned organizations.

Tranchina has many years of experience developing network security strategies, architectures, and solutions for small, medium, and large enterprises. Tranchina also has experience in project management, design, and implementation, deploying networks and security architectures of all sizes for commercial and government agencies. Tranchina played a key role in the design and implementation of some of the largest and most complex network outsourcing contracts for telecommunications companies, including AT&T and Verizon. He has also consulted on network and security for Fortune 500 companies and public-sector clients, including Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, MetLife, Citibank, Bank One, BP/Amoco, General Motors, Delphi Automotive, and Tyco International as well as for county police departments in the New York metropolitan area.

Since joining Mathematica in 2012, Tranchina, along with his team, has led a technology transformation within Mathematica, designing and deploying the latest network, security, storage, cloud, and virtualization technologies to improve collaboration and time to market for Mathematica’s clients.

Tranchina has a B.S. in electronic engineering from Monmouth University, He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
