Under contract with MACPAC, Mathematica compiled an inventory of Medicaid initiatives in the states and territories. Based on a review of publicly available information and confirmation from the Medicaid programs, Mathematica captured almost 400 policies. They examined efforts across the following areas: eligibility and enrollment, education and outreach (to providers and beneficiaries), covered benefits, models of care, payment, managed care contracting, performance measurement, and other.

The inventory includes a summary tab, as well as a detailed tab that provides additional information about each initiative and allows users to filter to the categories or subcategories of interest.
