On August 29, 2019, Demetra Nightingale from the Urban Institute and formerly from the Department of Labor presented on the Department of Labor’s approach to create and implement evidence-building and an evaluation plan, as required by the Evidence Act. Demetra reviewed the Department of Labor’s approach to create a learning agenda, current stage of implementation for rolling out the learning agenda, expected impact of the learning agenda, next steps in the process, and lessons learned to share with other federal agency staff and those who may be implementing evaluation planning efforts.
