This study explores transition strategies Germany and the Netherlands use to address issues faced by youth with disabilities. Using a case study methodology, the study finds these countries have a number of comprehensive, coordinated, efficient, and inclusive transition strategies and programs for youth and young adults with disabilities. However, only a handful of these programs are likely candidates for transferring, entirely or in part, to the U.S. disability support system.
