On Wednesday, December 10, 2014, Mathematica hosted a live workshop and webinar to allow patient-centered outcomes research/comparative effectiveness research stakeholders and others to (1) provide direct, actionable feedback on the draft Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) Framework and D&I Toolkit, and (2) offer additional suggestions that may help the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) reach and engage a broad spectrum of audiences with new research and findings. Through small-group exercises, expert panel discussions, and a plenary session on the state of evidence-based D&I evaluation, the workshop covered how to apply recommended strategies. It was an opportunity for participants to review the D&I strategies under consideration at PCORI, offer their perspectives and experience-based feedback, and provide input into the development of the final framework and toolkit.
