The Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) wants to understand how to best deliver services to all adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. DDS hopes to deliver services in a way that meets people's needs no matter who they are or what their background is.

We invite you to join a virtual listening session from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. ET on May 28, 2024. You'll have an opportunity to share how people experience the services that DDS delivers.

We would like to hear from adults with disabilities who use DDS services, their families, caretakers, and others who can speak to DDS service delivery.

Already have a few ideas you want to share? Please send them to us now using this survey: https://mathematica.questionprogov.com/DDSHealthEquitySurvey

The listening session will include:

  • Options for people to share information verbally and by writing comments in the chat and survey
  • American Sign Language interpreters and Spanish interpreters
  • Interpreters in people’s requested languages

DDS is holding this listening session as part of the Health Equity Review Initiative. It will recommend ways to help DDS deliver the types of needed services in ways that do not leave people out.

Mathematica will facilitate this conversation. If you have questions or accessibility requests, including requests for interpreters in a specific language, please email DDSHealthEquity@mathematica-mpr.com by May 20.
